Re: Compact Cameras
how does the M6II work for you? it is one of the best cameras for a photobooth IMHO. the M50 and M50II are basically the same, I'd get the M50 if I was on a budget.

Used to use Ikea Gunnern cabinets but they are discontinued. Now I use deep dish pizza pans, polycarbonate, and aluminum to make this:

Re: Is any kind of wired printing possible?
there are a couple of competing apps that allow one to use a lightning cable that goes to a windows laptop. the laptop saves the image and then prints it out to the printer via usb cable. kind of a weird solution, why not just get rid of the ipad and use the pc is what I think. I've not found it any...

Re: automatic tempalte overlay loading
https://www.photoboothtemplates.com/product/snowfall-celebration-3-up-strips/ several pc programs use a simple text file that has the x y coordinates like above website mentions most are designed to work with 4x6 paper at 300ppi = 1200x1800 pixels personally I would try to make it even more user fri...

automatic tempalte overlay loading
A lot of people buy templates for use in their photobooth business. Some of these templates come with X,Y coordinate files which work with some pc software to automatically align the photos with the overlay template, but many do not. It would be nice to just drop the overlay into wifibooth and have ...

Re: Canon 70D third party battery warning
get the original. buy it used on ebay if you can't afford it new. or at least carry the original battery as a back up. many 3rd party power supplies fail. And they only fail for a spit second, which fools one into thinking they are actually working and it'a wifi issue or something else causing the i...

Re: New User Feedback and Questions
the gallery is used to make collages, so it would not make sense to have collages in the gallery.
people are not that bright they would place the collage into another collage opening which would look ridiculous.

Re: New User Feedback and Questions
make sure the ipad battery is near 100% as well as a low battery decreases speed I'd get the 12.9 2nd gen if I were you about $550 used, better value and easier for guests to use.

Re: Green Screen integration?
thanks for XR feedback. I guess I should of bought that vs an iPhone 8, since the XR has a wide angle lens. Too bad there are not any cheaper depth sensing cameras! iphones cost more than my dslrs!

Re: Black screen after a while
with a different ipad app and ios 12 there was a bug that didn't allow you to use guided access. My guess is if you take off guided access then it will solve your issue.

I know I misspelled wifibooth, but even when spelled right it does not show up in the store on an ios 11 ipad pro.

Re: wifibooth does not show up in app store unless ios12 on device
yes USA app store does not show your app on ios 11 ipads. I have seen the upgrade notification In the past, but that is not the current situation. the app does not show up at all uless you have ios 12 installed. at least on 3 ipads I tested it does not.

I was just telling someone they shoud buy it and they told me it wasn't on the app store. that's all. people do not know they need to upgrade thus will not buy your app.

wifibooth does not show up in app store unless ios12 on device
wifibooth does not show up in app store unless ios12 is on the device, a lot of people still have ios 11.xx installed. seems like this situation is bad for marketing.

animated overlays for gifs.
It would be nice to see animated gif overlays These are a series of gif's that make a boarder around either a still photo or a gif or boomerang. I have seen people in a snow globe confetti or snow or rain falling down blinking lights frame around people https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ofj5H_F6ZqC2...

Re: 1st Event done with iphone 8 and "Magic" screen
pixbooth2 supports green screen AND magic screen. I just downloaded it again to verify. I would guess that 90% or more of the photobooth rental companies use canon cameras, 9% use Nikon and 1% use sony. I have never heard of anyone using Panasonic or Fuji, except on this forum. So dumping everything...

Re: 1st Event done with iphone 8 and "Magic" screen
when I run events I typically want the customers to do everything. Yes the attendant can see the iphoen screen, but the guests cannot unless the ipad is in front. You can't have the ipad on a table with other users designing collages IMHO. I will probabaly make a little stand 8 feet away from the ip...

Re: 1st Event done with iphone 8 and "Magic" screen
only technical issues is once during the event the router got unplugged and I had to recommend everything. I think a battery back up would of been good. blueprint would crash when I tried to manually set the shutter speed to 1/60 and lastly I got a long pause with a count down of about 50 seconds. I...

1st Event done with iphone 8 and "Magic" screen
First event using an iPhone 8+ with ipad pro 9.7" to take photos of a 30 person birthday party. Below is my review of using iPhone 8 camera. Lighting was a ring light a couple overhead lights and some pendent lights. This is the housing I made. I still need to 3d print a lens hood for the iPhone so ...

Re: Green Screen integration?
I think the wide angle lens for the iPhone xr will be best the telephoto of the iPhone 8+ is ok, but requires a lot more space.
