Re: Does Soloslides store my pictures?

SoloSlides is expressly forbidden from storing your photos due to Google's policies. It constantly accesses Googles Servers.

Unfortunately apple doesn’t allow us to do this yet.
But if they ever do, we will build it!

Re: Soloslides on LG tv

Hi there, No, it's not supposed to appear as a DLNA device: SoloSlides is not the server. Your TV is the server. Specifically, SoloSlides is looking for a media-renderer, which TVs usually advertise themselves to be. SoloSlides then automatically pushes the photos to the media renderer, which for ex...

Re: Hide the gallery function for guests

Do you mean the two slideshow options? They do look very similar, but they are not the same. The first one, "Play on smart TVs" is Wifibooth actively searching uPnP for TV-like devices, and playing the latest photo / slideshow of photos on these devices. This is off by default, because it can be bad...

Re: Hide the gallery function for guests

In that case I suggest you look at changing two settings, in Event settings -> Taking Photos:
- the "Cheese!" text
- the "Please wait..." text.

If you change those to be the same value, it might be a better experience on your ipad. Please try it out.

Re: Hide the gallery function for guests

Hi Daniel, Unfortunately hiding the gallery entirely isn't possible. How long cheese is shown depends on the camera and what it communicates to the app. If Cheese is disappearing quickly, then it means that the camera has communicated it has already taken the shot... what camera & wifi set up are yo...

Re: Green Screen

Hi no you don't need a backdrop / green screen - our SceneSelect feature doesn't need it.
You need an iPad with FaceID so you can use our SceneSelect feature. You can tell an iPad has FaceID if it doesn't have a physical button on the front / home screen.

Re: Testversion - No sharp picture

Hi Anna Thanks for purchasing wifibooth i'll try to answer your questions. You're using the Canon 80D correct? If the live view is slow then it is almost certainly the wifi causing this. Can you please try connecting the ipad wifi directly to the camera (camera mode wifi) and see if this is faster t...

Re: Testversion - No sharp picture

Hi Anna Correct, the full version will not watermark or downsize images unless you tell the app to do that. Please note that you also need to turn off “downsize images to print resolution”, which is the second-last setting in event settings->taking photos. This setting has no effect in the trial ver...

Re: Testversion - No sharp picture

Hi Anna,
Your english is fine, don't worry :)
In order to apply the trial watermark, the test version downsizes the photo to 1800x1200 pixels (or 1200x1800 pixels if portrait orientation).
So if you are zooming the photos to 100% then would account for differences.

Re: Dropbox issue

Hi Carlos,
Please use a web-browser to login to Dropbox, and check how much storage space you have free. Do you have at least 50 MB free?
Also please make sure Wifibooth is updated to the latest version in the App Store app.

Re: Pb printing with sololink, DNP RX1HS and AirkonV 2.0

Hi Chris09 unfortunately due to bugs in iOS 13, you can only use Wifibooth with its iOS13-workaround of manual printing with your raspberryPi. You cannot use SoloLink this way.
Hopefully Apple will fix their bugs soon...

Re: Constantly crashing with Fuji cameras

Ok thanks for the update. This might sound strange but can you please try setting fuji jpg/image size to L (no raw) and see if it is more reliable? Of course images will be a bit slower to download but may mean images don’t get lost. Im wondering if this is a timing issue. Note to myself: could be r...

Re: Constantly crashing with Fuji cameras

Sorry to hear about this. When you say crash do you mean the app quits out to the main screen? If so please check the size of the JPGs the camera is sending to the ipad - try a smaller size. If it is lagging: how far away from the ipad is the camera and what is between them? If you shorten the dista...

Re: BluePrint Not Printing to Selphy CP1300

Hi Ryan,
Hmm no there are no settings controlling that. Are you making MP4s or GIFs? There's a setting in Event Settings -> Taking Photos that is default MP4. If you changed that to GIF then of course gifs are lower quality than mp4, you might want to change it back to mp4 in that case.
