Re: automatic tempalte overlay loading

Do you have a specific PC software in mind that uses a file-format that at least one other app (made by a different company) can use? ie. not proprietary

Re: USING 2ND IPAD AS KIOSK

Yes this makes sense, the 2-iPad functionality has been on the list of things I want to build for a long time. Years actually. It will happen, I just cannot predict when. It is not possible today. It's hard for me to read text when it is all in capital letters -- if you could turn off the caps lock ...

Re: Camera via USB with Manfrotto Digital Director

This has been asked about multiple times, but there are multiple issues with this: - it is discounted because it is old, which probably means it is not going to be supported for long. For example, on the website there is a download to update support for iOS 9. We're on iOS 12, and there's a download...

Re: extreme slowness when using Canon 70D

Hi Samuel, I'd love to help you. Can you please be quite specific about exactly where the lag is occurring? For example, does live view start quickly, photos get taken at the right time ("Cheese"), but then the progress ring is shown for a very long time before the gallery is shown with the photos? ...

Re: extreme slowness when using Canon 70D

I am not sure what you mean by "every time I open the app", but: once the camera is connected, minimizing Wifibooth with a connected camera is not supported. That's because iOS doesn't allow you to keep network connections open when an app is minimized.

Re: WPS 1 set up with internet

Yes, because they went through the complicated & expensive process of doing MFi-certification with Apple (that's the only way to gain access to the iPad USB port), and also built their own custom MFi hardware (required for MFi). But I can guess why this product is discounted now: - offers an update ...

Re: Again extrem lagging and connection breakup D7100 iPad Mini Retina

I am sorry the app is not working for you. Nikon cameras are fully supported. Are you using the D7100 like the title suggests (requires wifi adaptor), or, are you using the D7500 (built-in wifi) ? In Settings App -> Wifibooth can you please tell me if any switches are turned on? (they should be all ...

Re: WPS 1 set up with internet

Cool that you got it! Yes, your guess is correct: cameras that create wifi hotspots are making an "adhoc" hotspot which can only have 1 connection at a time. There has been a slight increase of the framerate of the Canon 80D's liveview, but it will be nowhere near as fast as your Sony Alpha -- mirro...

Re: camera in vertical position

Hmm, maybe I was wrong about it not being a camera setting problem.
Can you please tell me what your Auto Rotate setting is set to, and please try setting it to the middle option shown in this photograph?

Re: camera in vertical position

No there's no setting on your camera that you need to change. When you say "shown in landscape on the iPad", do you mean in a collage? Or in the gallery -> preview/fullscreen view? Or do you mean the live view on the home page? Probably a screenshot would help here (you could upload to imgur etc) It...

Re: Canon camera not firing flash

I found the issue: it is that you are using a non-Canon flash. On page 172 of the Canon 750D manual, it says: A non-Canon flash will not fire during Live View shooting. I did some more digging and found this page , which makes it more clear: Canon flashes are sending a command to the camera (about "...

Re: Canon camera not firing flash

There is more info in this help article: https://wifibooth.com/help/articles/can ... iew-flash/
You absolutely can use flash with Canon 750D and live-view with Wifibooth. But you will find the GIFs too dark if that is strobe flash you are using: just turn GIFs off.

Re: Canon Selphy CP1300 lost connection

There's no guarantee the CP910 is going to work better for you -- it could be something else about your setup that the Selphys don't like. But yes for me when I run events, the CP910 has no issues.
If you can use the DS620 i'd definitely go with that.

Hey thefotobomb which Selphy printer do you have?
I have the CP910 and it does not do this. I am connecting the CP910 to a wifi router (not using its own wifi)

Re: Panasonic Lumix FZ-82, Blueprint, Dropbox,... issues

Ha, great. Well i'm definitely hoping to make you happy again by somehow getting your dropbox working! I tried making an event with exactly that name, and Dropbox uploads are working fine for me. I am guessing there is something different about your dropbox account that Wifibooth is stumbling on. So...

Re: Panasonic Lumix FZ-82, Blueprint, Dropbox,... issues

OK. For (1), in wifibooth please sign out of dropbox. Then: 1. if the Dropbox app is installed on the ipad, please delete it 2. open safari, go to dropbox.com, and manually sign-out of dropbox 3. open Wifibooth, sign into dropbox again, and test again. Did this fix it? For (2), please kill wifibooth...
