Hi I just tried it and I'm able to load an album fine on Soloslides.
Can you please try signing out of your google photos account in Soloslides, and see if it works when you sign back in. To do this go to the bottom of the settings screen in the app and hit "Disconnect from Google Photos"

Hmm i'm guessing that there's something about this camera that the app cannot handle, sorry about that. The SX series is not well tested because it is not a popular camera for photo boothing.

Ok that is correct. You are noticing that selphy printers have overscan - they crop into the photo to make the print borderless.
Our newer app Booth.Events has print insets you can use to counter this.

Can you check the size of the printed photo in the Photos app - what pixel size does it have?

Wifibooth isn't doing any backup, no. But I'm guessing maybe you have iCloud Photo sync or iCloud Photo library turned on, and these photos are backed up from your camera roll (photos app) to iCloud?
