What is the best method for getting the hair to be cut out cleanly from the background?
I am going to try adding a backlight to the hair, anyone have any tips?

Just bought a 12.9 3rd gen and this feature really works well. The cloudy halo around the people's heads takes a minute to get used to, but end results are good. some hair styles do not cut out that well, but even with green screen that is tricky to do.

the new depth camera that replaces the real background with a virtual one is a pretty nice features.
It would be great if the user could choose the background. Maybe give them 4 or 6 choices. any more than that would slow down the line too much IMHO.

Tim I know you are working on a template editor. if wifibooth had mini photobooth's template editor it would be a dream app for me!

any time frame for when slow motion will be available using either a rear iPhone or rear ipad camera?

there are a lot of free ipad apps that do really simple colleges.
if you know photoshop you can write an action to do that pretty easily.
and there are windows based programs that do this to, but the learning curve is much higher

on certain canon dlsrs one can enable or disable exposure simulation to lighten the live view image. call up sony tech support they might have something similar? why not, many companies tell customers after xx/xx/xxxx date price will increase 10% more. the only app that does this is snappic and you have to buy a piece of hardware from Manfrotto that is around $100.

dnp just released a new printer. looks like it might support direct prininting from an ipad via airprint?
