Re: Eyefi mobi pro not working
Hi jojo OK good news / bad news: good news is I found a WU-1a and will grab it tonight. Bad news is that I still need to find a camera that works with it (I have a few Nikon cameras but none that will work with it), and uploading a new version + apple review by saturday is probably impossible. So pl...

Re: Eyefi mobi pro not working
Hi jojo Sorry you're having trouble. There are no limitations in the trial app -- nothing is different when you buy the app except watermark is removed. The ability to trigger the camera from the ipad (camera button with countdown timer) is NOT available with eye-fi. Eye-fi cards are SD cards, and S...

Re: WIFI BOOTH CAMERA COMPATIBILITY LIST
Hi Carmen,
It is not possible to use internet functions like sending email, without internet access. There is no "delay and connect later" feature.
I suggest you connect your camera to a wifi hotspot that has internet access if this is possible with your camera.

Re: Use iPhone as Camera
Hi, Yeah, I have been mulling this over also. It's not going to be a feature I can build soon because it's a lot of change, but I am thinking about this. In the meantime, you could use the iPad's rear camera instead (it's better quality). It's just weird that you can't see the live-view... thanks fo...

Re: Emailing Photos to Guests Instantly
You're welcome! I know it isn't welcome news, but there are a TON more features when you get a camera that has buit-in wifi -- live-view, iphones & apple watches being able to trigger via the ipad, more stability, easier setup etc. If you can borrow or rent a camera with built-in wifi for events wit...

Re: Emailing Photos to Guests Instantly
Hi groom2b actually they don't get queued. The email, dropbox and twitter features don't have "queues", they require an active internet connection. I'm afraid with eye-fi you are really limited if the eye-fi card is providing the wifi hotspot -- it simply isn't possible to use internet features. If ...

Re: all photos available at all times?
Yes that works in that situation because only one group of users can possibly be taking photos or doing things to the photos at one time. With WiFi Booth that's not true: often one group of people will be taking the photos in front of the camera, and another group (who have already finished taking t...

Re: all photos available at all times?
How would you expect this to work? Would you want each and every user to somehow sign in to the app, so they can only see their photos? With what credentials? And how would that work with remotes on their iphone or watch?

Re: all photos available at all times?
No, there's no way to do this, because there is no way for the app to know which guest is using it.

Re: Connetcting Problems: Canon selphy cp1200
That would work for one or maybe two photos. It would not work at a real event: the eyefi drops its wifi very quickly, much faster than when wifi is built-in. Printers do not quickly re-connect. In general for events you care about i'd avoid eyefi altogether and invest in a camera that has wifi buil...

Re: Unable to tweet collages
New idea: revoke the app on twitter, then change your twitter password. Then install wifibooth. Hopefullly this gets around twitter caching its credentials

Re: Unable to tweet collages
Ugh. Sorry it is this difficult. Just to be clear: did you delete the Twitter account in iOS and *then* delete the wifibooth app? That order would be necessary to make sure wifibooth did not use the old credentials.

Re: Dropbox when not connected to wifi
Dropbox, email sending and twitter require internet connecivity during the event itself. Witthout internet email addresses will be collected and you can get them back after the event in a format that is easy to send a link to. Also please note only the "everything" package includes email collection ...

Re: Unable to tweet collages
Update: i think you can avoid deleting the app by revoking its privileges here: https://twitter.com/settings/applications
... then restart wifi booth and it should prompt you to log into twitter again.
Did that work?

Re: Unable to tweet collages
I apologize, there was a problem with the settings for the app on twitter -- it was classified as read-only. It is (as of just now) classified as read-write. However, you need to re-authorize wifibooth for twitter. At the moment I think there is no other way to do this than to delete the app and re-...

Re: So CLOSE
In wifibooth update 3.1.0 (available approx sept 7), you can use an overlay and "maximize" this. If you make a transparent PNG that is the same aspect ratio of the paper-size you configure (ie. 4x6), then you should now be able to accomplish what you want.
