Re: Live View with Nikon WU-1B Adapter
... update 2: tried the WU-1b with an iPad Pro 12.9" (my other ipad I was saying it was sloowww with was an iPad Air 1), and it is much better. So, hopefully you have a newer iPad like the iPad Pro. This has nothing to do with the software/app/iOS ... it's the wifi connectivity of the newer ipads be...

Re: Twitter Issues
I did some more testing and still can't see a bug in the app. I realize this is a gigantic pain for you and I apologize sincerely. I am keen to fix this for you. For the next update I have added an error message when logging in to Twitter fails, but I don't think this is what is happening to you (yo...

Re: Live View with Nikon WU-1B Adapter
... one thing I noticed though, this adapter (WU-1b) is SUPER SLOW when connected to an iPhone or iPad (using either the official Nikon app or wifibooth). It barely even works. I hope that's just my copy of this adapter and that it works better for you...

Re: Live View with Nikon WU-1B Adapter
Hi Sean, I bought the WU-1b, borrowed a D600, and found the problem with the app. A nice bug actually, happy to have found & fixed this, thanks! I'll get an update out next week for you, that makes it work! Please post back when you have seen the update, let me know if it works for you. all the best...

Re: Twitter Issues
I have some time to look at this now.
Can you please tell me if you purchased any packages in the wifibooth app, and if so, which packages?
Can you also please tell me exactly the hashtag you told wifibooth to tweet to?

Re: Canon Eos M5
Hi Christian Cool that it was solid. I just spent more hours on the M5 focus issue. There's a slim chance that the event code 0xC189 (property changed) showing device property 0xD1BA (=PTP_DPC_CANON_EOS_LvAfSystem, unknown meaning to me) changing from 0x0000 to 0x0001 means focus lock, and 0 to 2 or...

Re: Twitter Issues
Hmm, that's very strange. I probably won't be able to figure it out, without you running a test version on your side to see what you're hitting. I'll put this on my list of things to get to (likely late next week, there's a backlog because I was away for 2 weeks). In the meantime are you ok with run...

Re: Twitter Issues
Hmm. Could it be possible that when you sign into twitter, you are connected to the internet, but later when you are expecting collages to tweet out, you are not connected to the internet (ie. because you are connected directly to the wifi of your camera) ? Which camera are you using, and how is you...

Re: Twitter Issues
Very strange. Can you please try:
1. Delete wifibooth app
2. Go to settings app, twitter, make sure you are signed out
3. Open safari go to twitter.com and sign out there
4. Install wifibooth and restore purchases if you made any

Re: Twitter Issues
I don't know what you mean, "never populates". If this is a screen that has the wrong content that you're seeing, please take a photo of it (screenshot) and upload it here. If you're saying that when hitting "Done" to select event that no twitter popup is coming, then that's because the app thinks i...

Re: Text images to the user
Hi there, Thanks for the feedback! I forgot a key method you could share: guests can use their own iPhone/iPod to remote-control the ipad. When they do this, the photos taken wiht the wifibooth app on the ipad appear on their phone. They can share however they like. To do this, guests just need to i...

Re: Text images to the user
Hi,
Users can enter their email address and you can configure wifibooth to send emails with either a dropbox link to their photo, or the photo attached.
You can also tweet photos to #yourevent.

Hi busker42 I responded to your request within 3 hours. You did not write back. Clearly this isnt enough for you. You can request a refund from Apple directly. Use the link in the receipt email that Apple sent you, or google "itunes request refund in-app purchase" I'd say i'm sorry to see you go, bu...

Yup that is totally fair. I will try to do that. The issue is that i need to discover the canon-proprietary event code that tells me this. It is undocumented of course. And sitting in a river of other binary event data...

Re: Canon Eos M5
There's still a ton of time before 24 March. As far as I understand it the only issues are the focus issue, and the remote/iphone issue. The focus issue isn't going to necessarily fix anything, even if I tell it to take another photo -- it can still miss again if the people are moving. You need to s...
