Re: Opinion on a competitor?
Great - did you get the WPS-1, or the WPS-Pro? Two hints for setting up your WPS: 1) its default IP address is 192.168.43.1 -- kinda hard to guess 2) its wifi isn't great, best to use its ethernet ports exclusively (I tended to connect it to a small portable wifi router, like the plug-style routers ...

Re: Opinion on a competitor?
Hi calzone, It's totally appropriate to discuss competitors! I'm always keen to hear what my customers' choices are, and how I can (<ahem>) influence them :D First of all, I want to state up front there is no "correct" solution overall. If someone thinks that everyone should ____ ("be on PC" / "use ...

That is very strange.
What device & version are you using, and which iOS? Example: iPad Air 1 on iOS 11.2
What version of wifibooth is it? (Settings app -> wifibooth -> see bottom)
Are you using iCloud photo library?

Re: does iphone X portrait mode work with wifibooth?
No, this is not supported by *any* third-party apps, as far as im aware: the last time I checked, Apple has kept the implementation of portrait mode entirely private.

Only if it supports AirPrint (ie. you can print to it from iOS without its own app). I am not familiar with this printer.

Re: Use iPhone as Camera
Sorry at the moment this is not supported.
One thing that works well is if you get a tripod-stand for the iPad, so that it is facing you while you take the photo from the front camera, then you can see the live video feed during the countdown -- so guests know where to stand.

See if you can get a Canon 80D (or newer of that line or better) then. Great photobooth camera, very strong wifi.

Re: Is a CF -> SD on 7D (not Mark II) supported ?
There are big reasons to choose a specific camera to use for a wifi-enabled photobooth. The big things to look for are: 1) does the camera's wifi support only direct/camera wifi, or can it connect to a wifi router/hotspot as well (aka infrastructure mode) ? This is super important if you want to be ...

Re: Question printer
I have heard of others using something called "Printopia" but I am not aware of how this works, so I can't say if it works with Wifibooth.
I think this route would require you having a computer to run that software also at the event.

Re: Emails / Files waiting to upload...
Hi Petsdomain, There was an update on Saturday afternoon/evening that should have fixed the email issues: 4.1.2. You can check your wifibooth version by going to Settings App -> Wifibooth. If your device has automatic updates turned on, you can see if this update was applied after you experienced th...

You need a DNP WPS product. Currently i believe there are two choices: DNP WPS-1 (old), DNP WPS-PRO (new).
Wifibooth supports both.

OK after battling Apple (3 rejections for unrelated subscription stuff, argh), 4.1.2 update is finally live in the app store. I recommend you update to it before having wifibooth upload offline data.

Re: Problems to Connect my 5DIV
Hi Sascha, 99% of the time that's because you need to set up a new pairing - your camera is expecting another app (ie. the Canon app), and is rejecting the session because it finds Wifibooth instead. On the camera's wifi menu, go to the wifi "Change Settings", go through connecting to the wifi again...

Re: Wifibooth Support Deutsch

Hi Teddy
That's great! I'm really glad you didn't have my app spamming your customers
I'm hoping Apple approves the update (4.1.2, build 5322) today, which has the fix for this, as well as yet another fix for Google email login happening more than it should

You are welcome! I apologize that there was a bug in the first place...

Hi Tagsman, Nothing is being lost. The data is safely stored: the bug is in the logic that processes the stored files. The bug is not destructive: it does not delete data. Are you running wifibooth offline, ie. no internet connection? IMPORTANT: if yes, do *not* open wifibooth again when the ipad ha...

Also can you try updating Wifibooth to 4.1.0 (released monday) and see if that helps?

Please see my response in the other thread first: BEFORE you update to 4.1.0 which is available on the app store and has this feature, we need to fix your email issue. Before you update.
