Re: Bluetooth remote shutter
Hi John. Your bluetooth trigger is using bluetooth to turn up the volume on the ipad, which the camera app detects and assumes you mean to trigger the shutter. I will try to build this into wifibooth in a future version.

Re: Email and borders
Hi Helen, I can't make promises because I have kids (read: randomization=high), but sept. 18 should be doable. It'd help things enormously if you'd be willing to donate a half-hour or so to test this, since you're asking for it (ie. you have an expectation of how it should work, which is valuable to...

Hi Helen, Hmm, there's a lot there, so i'll go point-form ... Canon 6D: live view on this camera is slllloooowwww. I recommend you disable live-view in WiFi Booth if using the 6D. No, i'm not planning on building offline image-sending-queueing, ie. you're offline at the event and people have their e...

Re: iPad front camera mirroring
The issue with this is that it is not clear when to stop showing the video, so that people can pick images to make collages, print, etc. Also, in some configurations people use the wifibooth with two separate groups of people - one on the camera, the other (who already finished with the camera) on t...

Hi Heleno
No but i have time to build that now. Are you using the ipad at your event while it is connected to the internet, so the emails can be sent right away?

Re: iPad front camera mirroring
Hi petroutsos, The reason that the app does not leave the camera live view on all the time is that this would use up the camera's battery much faster. May i ask, why you would like live view to stay on? Is it because you want the camera to be faster? (I know the 6D is slower to enter/exit live view ...

That's great that you found it so easy, thanks for the feedback! And thanks for the photo too :D Unfortunately apple gives me no easy way to partially discount the full purchase after rental, but now that you mention this i will think about how i could add this in the future. If you do end up purcha...

Hi Bob If wifibooth wasnt configured to instantly send emails (ie guests didnt receive any yet), then the addresses are stored in the event. First make sure the ipad has some email account configured (open Mail app and make sure some account is there) Then open the event (the first "choose event" sc...

Im very sorry - i have reached out to EyeFi again and again and it seems they are just not interested in supporting developers. Also i dont think SD cards can ever trigger a camera.
Your best bet is to upgrade to a camera with wifi built-in. The canon T6i / 750D is a good option

Re: Connetcting Problems: Canon selphy cp1200
Hi Flo Good news, yes there's a way to do this without switching the wifi (please update to the newest version of wifibooth). You need a 2nd iOS device, like an iPhone or iPod. Then you use BluePrint to share the printer over Bluetooth. I wrote an article for exactly this setup: https://thewifibooth...

Hi undermarks Nice to see you excited -- every booth operator in L.A. would be real nice ;) Can you please post an example photo here that shows the result of what you mean? It sounds like you want to give the app a PNG of a frame, and have all photos framed within it. Is it ok if the PNG/frame crop...

Re: Can't Get App To Recognize Camera With Eye-Fi card.
Hi Rosie I don't give out my email address, I prefer to keep all communication here on the forum so that others can see it too (so they have a chance to fix their problems without contacting me). I respond to forum posts exactly as fast as email, because as soon as there's a new one, I get an email ...

Re: Email and borders
This exists already (presuming I understood your need).
Open the Settings App, scroll down to wifibooth. In right-pane, scroll down until you see "Border (percentage)". Raise this from 2 to something like 10 and try again.
Did this solve your problem?

Hi Rosie
Yes the app functions (completely) in landscape mode.
Perhaps your rotation lock was on? Or perhaps you need to update to the newest version of wifibooth?
