Hi Taryn,
The file you are looking for is called offline.db

Re: Upload key for Mac

Ok I am not sure what causes Keenai to actually write the key to offline.db but basically id make sure you quit the keenai software, restart it, insert the card into computer, and change some settings on the card (ie add new network to the card). Mess around and eventually it should add the key

Re: Upload key for Mac

This means that your offline.db has no keys in it. Did you already disable keenai cloud to make sure the photos arent going via the internet? Here is something you can try: get the photos to go from camera to computer (keenai software) without any internet, ie unplug your cablemodem or whatever. May...

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

Happy to help, and i'm sorry that eyefi is difficult :) I do wish eyefi would have accepted my request to make it easier. Re iPad camera what is not working? This mode means that the wifibooth app will take photos with the camera of the ipad. Does it not do that for you? Re eyefi, you do see a long ...

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

Did you configure the Eye-Fi card to connect to a wifi network that exists in the place you're using it? Is your iPad's wifi also connected to that wifi network? Eye-fi setup is sadly not easy. If you think your wifi network might be the issue, or there might be other computers on that wifi network ...

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

Hi there, If you see the 32-character key when you start wifibooth and hit the eyefi button, then you don't need to (ever) worry about the upload key again. WiFi Booth remembers it. If images aren't transferring, make sure you're taking at least 5 and waiting a while ... if still nothing, there are ...

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

Your card, by default, is not sending photos to the computer. It's sending to the cloud via internet access, then your computer gets them from the cloud.
That's why I said you need to turn the cloud functionality off in the computer's keenai software. Did you try that?

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

That's the problem -- there's no key there. That means there's no key stored in your keenai's offline.db. It's a mystery to me why not, but likely you need to try: 1) in keenai software with your card inserted, turn OFF all extra options, including saving RAW files, saving things to keenai cloud, an...

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

The point is that in order for there to exist an upload key for your card, the card must have already been used to transfer photos to somewhere. Since you can't read files (that contain the upload key) from an iOS device, you use a computer.

Eye-fi is tricky. The company doesn't give me anything I can use to make it easier.

Re: WIFI BOOTH CAMERA COMPATIBILITY LIST

Ah ok :) I would definitely recommend the T6i aka 750D over the T6 aka 1300D. The T6 has liveview that is so slow when tethered (meaning, viewing it somewhere like an ipad instead of on the back of the camera), it is basically unusable. I have a T6i and I use it for events with wifibooth no problem....

Re: Photo showing as a grey rectangle?

Sorry you're having trouble. I'm afraid I don't think I understand what you mean by numered grey rectangles -- do you mean the placeholder photos 01, 02, 03, and 04, that come when you first create a new event in wifibooth (ie. the first time you run the app) ? Did you see any photos come from your ...

Re: WIFI BOOTH CAMERA COMPATIBILITY LIST

If you're getting a camera specifically for the booth, then i'm not sure the 6D is ideal - I remember its live view being a bit slow, presumably because there's a much bigger sensor to render. I'd suggest getting a used Canon 70D, or a new 80D - those are great cameras for photobooths, very speedy. ...

Re: Trigger camera (DSLR) to take pictures from app

EyeFi cards do not support triggering the camera, because SD cards are just storage cards. You need a camera with wifi to do this.
Please do NOT purchase the app if you cannot make the free trial version work how you want it to.

Re: WIFI BOOTH CAMERA COMPATIBILITY LIST

Hi scoobiewu, You're right, but point-and-shoots have BIG limitations in their software (probably due to their processing power being significantly less than DLSRs). For example, most point-and-shoots are not capable of taking a photo and sending it over the wifi, without disconnecting the wifi to t...

Instagram won't work, I assume you meant Twitter. Dropbox or twitter. Re remote, best is just to try it out and see if it works for you. It is totally free to try on ipad and iphone, no signup required. You're right that the liveview doesnt show on the ipad if the ipad is in use for collaging / emai...

Re: Features I'd like to use

Hi Sam There's no slideshow built in to wifibooth but you could do this if you have internet access: configure wifibooth to auto upload to dropbox or to tweet the photos, then run some slideshow app on the other end that auto shows the newest dropbox/twitter uploads. Re remote trigerring, you can us...
