Yes it must stay open. This is the way Apple built iOS for bluetooth connections

Re: emails with pictures in the spam folder again and again

Most likely that's correct, yes. Google's spam filters for example are learning based on what comes in, which is contextual to who's account we're talking about...

Re: emails with pictures in the spam folder again and again

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately there's not a lot that can be done, it is largely dependent on what a user has marked as spam in the past.

Re: Where can I buy an app plan?

Hi Daniel
To buy the Wifibooth monthly plan, please either click "See Price" in the popups that show with the trial warning, or, go to settings -> general -> "Show Plans" (first row).
Thank you!

Re: Slow / only college

The problem with the CP1300 printer is on the printer side and there's not much that can be done about it. Yes, lots of people are having issues with it. We all wish Canon would issue an update and fix their printer... the printer must be connected via wifi. You need to buy the adapter from Apple th...

I'm not sure what the state of the CP1300 is.
We use the QW410. You also need the DNP WCM unit to make it network capable.

Re: sftp possible?

Hi daniel,
No this is not planned. FTP support is deprecated and will be removed when Apple next breaks it again.
Please use dropbox, google drive, google photo uploads - all of these are secure.

Re: Slow / only college

Hi lindsay, Please set JPG size to S (small) - if you need original photos too please save RAW+JPG on camera. That will speed it up a lot. Since you have a Canon EOS you can use a wired USB connection to your ipad to speed things up more if you want. There's no way to turn collages all the way off, ...

Hi there, yes make sure you are using JPG S (small). You still have the RAW photos on camera card to keep the original image.

Hi there
What camera are you using? Is live view on?
There is no manual focus - you do that on the camera.

Re: Wifibooth isn't ready...Nikon D750

Hmm … please try these things. Don’t buy the app til it works!
1. Make sure camera is shooting jpg or raw+jpg
2. Format the memory card in the camera, take one photo on camera, then try connecting to Wifibooth

If that fails please reset camera to factory settings if you are able to do this

Re: Wifibooth compatible cameras

Hi phizza77 sorry to hear that!
I'm guessing that camera has the newer APIs the same as the a6100, which we plan to support later this year.
So yes, we'll likely support it, but unfortunately it will be some time (can't say when yet)

Re: WPS Pro Disconnecting from Wifibooth

Hi there It’s almost certainly nothing to do with Wifibooth - if you could print to the WPS from the Apple Photos app you’d likely see the exact same error rate. The ethernet / wired printing should work. Im guessing the adapter is the apple one right? Is it getting a real IP address when it is wire...

Re: ipad camera has too much motion blur

I'm sure MP4s can be added to Google Photos library by Wifibooth. I cannot remember right now if it is possible for GIFs - not sure if they are supported by Google Photos.
