Hide loading icon in lower-right?

Just purchased the app and I like the functionality! I have noticed that there is a small half-circular loading icon every time it goes from one photo to another (I'm using the photos in an album stored on the ipad for the slides). Is there a way to suppress this or eliminate it? It's a bit distracting when having the photos rotate every few seconds.
