Log on issue
Can someone help? I accidentally disassociated my Google logon from the Soloslides app and could not reconnect with Google Photos. Where Soloslides asks for my gmail account, I entered it and it just spins around.
Re: Log on issue
Same here. I had it working on this iPad a while back. One more bit of info..I downloaded the Google photos app and it says that my browser is lacking some needed security features. Related?

Re: Log on issue
I am having the same issue that started about the same time as the initial poster's issue where SoloSlides gets stuck on the GooglePhotos authorization page. I am able to enter my Google user name, I push Next and then the progress bar keeps cycling.
I am running SoloSlides on four different iPad2s (Thank you for letting us use our old iPads with this app! It's a great way to repurpose them!) and am only having this issue with one of the iPads (Model MC769LL/A that running iOS 9.3.5). I have tried deleting and reinstall SoloSlides multiple times and even done a factory reset and reinstalled SoloSlides but no luck.
I hope there is a fix. I really value being able to use our old tablets as digital photo frames. Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Log on issue
This is unfortunately a bug or change in Google's OAuth UI / user flow. It's google web UI that pops up inside the soloslides app to authenticate you to your google account, and it isn't working in iOS 9 currently. I'm not sure if they've done this on purpose (ie. they are not supporting iOS 9 anymore) or if it is a bug that they will fix. There's nothing we can do on the Soloslides app to fix this, as this is Google's code on their website that has the issue.

Do you know if iOS 10 still works? Need to buy a "new" iPad for my grandparent and do not want to buy twice. This is unfortunately a bug or change in Google's OAuth UI / user flow. Re: Log on issue
I don't know if Google has broken iOS 10 too.

Re: Log on issue
I had the exact same issue (ipad 2, iOS 9.3.5) and think I found a solution:
1. On the device running iOS9, open Safari and use this link: https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?nojavascript=1 - this is an older account login page for google that I found.
2. Login using your google account details that would would be using for SoloSlides
3. Once logged in, go back to the SoloSlides app and repeat the login steps, it should hopefully realise that you've already logged in and skip the login pages that you were previously stuck on.
Hope this works - it did for me
