canon M50 mirrorless camera works but is a little laggy

for those of you looking to get the M50 mirrorless camera I just tested it out with the latetst version of wifi booth 4.4.4
camera settings were the same for both tests below
manual exposure and focusing with smallest image size 3.8MP set on camera
on a 12.9 2nd gen pro ipad (25% battery) it takes 2 to 5 seconds of capture time (hourglass ) after each photo
and about 8 seconds to process collage.
with live view having a 2-3 sec lag
with a 9.7 ipad pro 40% battery
the capture time increased to 6-8 seconds per photo
and about 2 -3 seoncds to process the college
live view lag about the same.
I only took 4 or 5 sessions on each one. seemed like the timing varried a lot as much as a few seconds.
sometimes the camera would fire at the right time, and other times it would delay a second or two.
