Sony A6500 connected but no pictures

Hello I try to get a fotobooth with my A6500 running. According to the instructions I updated camera firmware and the remote app. I'm able to connect to the camera but whenever I try to take a picture the following error message occurs "Wifibooth is noch nicht bereit dazu, ein Foto aufzunehmen. Bitte versuchen Sie es in Kürze erneut."

Did I missed anything at the setup??

The original Sony app is working without problems.

Thanks a lot for you help in advance.

Hello Tim,

thanks for the fast reply. I formated the SD card.
Now I can take at least some pictures. But the live view is very laggy and it takes over 40 seconds after the fotos have been take to switch to the gallery. I'm using an iPad (new iPad from 2018).
Any advise how to get a more fluent live view?

Hi Ben,
You are welcome.
Regarding the liveview being laggy, can you please tell me if it is noticeably worse in Wifibooth compared to the Sony app?
Regarding taking 40 seconds to get to the gallery, please check the resolution of the photos being taken by the camera. Try to use the setting closest to 1800 x 1200 pixels. That's often the smallest or second-smallest setting.

Hi Ben
In addition to my last reply, I also found an issue that i'm fixing in a beta build tomorrow. Can I get you to try this beta build for me? If so, I'll email the address you registered with the forum...

Wifibooth 4.4.8 was released to the app store today. It contains the fixes we talked about earlier in this thread. If you installed the beta, then please be sure to upgrade from the beta version to the App Store version. You can do this by going to the app store, finding Wifibooth, and installing it over top of the beta version. You don't need to erase the app.
