(Advice) Better camera than Sony A9 for adhoc Wireless connection

Hey guys,
I am using wifibooth with my Sony A9, 24-70mm and an Ipad Pro with the App running.
I use blueprint app on my Iphone for tethering the wifi over to the Ipad so it can send emails to the guests at an event.
Instead of tethering and using the iphone for internet... id like to get a camera with the Adhoc wireless option.
I know the Canon 80D is recommended here.
Are there any other professional options? And is the emailing/uploading time to dropbox improved with the ipad un-tethered and just connected to the buildings wifi network? Just curious
