Using Cannon Powershot SX510 HS - error

Hi there - I keep trying to connect my powershot SX510 HS to my apple device and everytime my camera tries to connect I get a fail message saying "This operation couldn't be completed. (se.cascable error 1014)". Help what does this mean???

Hmm, that's a timeout error, probably the camera isn't responding the way Wifibooth expects it to.
Can you please check that there's a formatted memory card in the camera, and also try connecting it to the official canon app and make sure it is working there as you expect?

Memory card is formatted correctly and the camera wifi works as I am able to the canon connect app to transfer images :?

Hmm. Any chance the canon app is still running on the same device as wifibooth? It would "win" trying to connect to the camera over wifibooth

Nothing comes to mind, I'm going to have to try to find a copy of this camera... it's older so not gonna be easy.

Turns out this camera only offers support for filesystem access - it cannot shoot. The only way you could use it with wifibooth is if you have a hardware trigger, and the camera can fire while tethered to wifibooth (and wifibooth would need to be in gallery-only mode for this). I will update this cam on the list, as this isn't the full wifibooth experience...
