External Flash set up

Postby BrookeR » Sun May 12, 2019 6:09 pm

Hello all,
I will be setting up a photo booth for my wedding using a Canon m50, I was also hoping to set it up with a Bowens Gemini 400 double head flash kit.
Can anyone confirm that this will all work with the Wifibooth 'Small Events' version?
How will this all connect up?
Would I need to connect the flashes by sync cable with transmitter then use the cameras Wi-Fi to connect to the app??

Also I haven't bought the camera yet, but could anyone confirm that the photos that save to the iPad are the camera quality photos? or are they downgraded in quality??
Thanks very much!!

Hi Brooker
I can confirm that photos the app pulls from the camera are not downgraded in quality, except in the trial version.
Please do not buy the app until it works for you: get everything connected and working how you want, then buy it before the event.
Did you see the help articles at https://wifibooth.com/help ? There are videos there to show you how to connect your camera.

Also did you know you can use your iphone as the camera (your ipad can run wifibooth which connects to the iphone camera)? The quality is very good for a photobooth because iphone cameras are better than ipad cameras
Please write a review for Wifibooth on the Apple App store! Indie developers like me really need people like you to review their apps. Instructions on how to write a review: http://goo.gl/w8NsDI.
