Hey everyone,
since I read that the dmc sz8 is supported by Wifibooth I get one to test the external camera function.

I tried to connect with all hinds of FAQ but it doesn‘t work.
I updated the firmware (1.3), formatted the SD card an set the image size to small and took a picture with manual button but it is still not working.

If I click the external camera button in Wifibooth it will try to connect to the camera. Camera is doing something, too but there nothing changes. „Connecting“ Message and a beep a few seconds.
After about 20 minutes I aborted it.

Please help me to connect the camera.
(At the Panasonic app all functions work fine!)

With Cascable it works great!

Ok good. Please try killing wifibooth, go to Settings App -> wifibooth (“photobooth” in 4.9.3 due to a bug), turn on Slower camera, then try again with wifibooth.
Any difference?

No difference so far.
I played around with this settings, deleted the app and reinstalled it. After setting the „Deactivate Camera ....“ on (Option under „faster camera“) the liveview appears. Now camera is focusing and taking photos but doen’t transmit them to the app. After photo series the waiting cycle will never end.

Sounds like a filesystem or timing issue - that camera isn’t dual cards is it?
I will need to find a copy of this camera and try it.

No just single card ...
