Is DxO One supported?

Postby audiophileaj » Wed Oct 23, 2019 6:09 pm

Looking to use my iPad with a DxO One for a photobooth. Is this supported? I saw that a couple years ago it was not supported. TIA.

Hi there,
The DxO One is not supported by Wifibooth. My understanding is that it uses a remote iPhone as the camera. Wifibooth already supports this: we built the app SoloLink to act as a remote iPhone camera for Wifibooth.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the quick feedback. I might end up using my A7ii instead, but was gathering all the options now :) The DxO One plugs into my iPhone/iPad via the lightning connector and has server as a nice upgrade to the built-in cameras for some basic use and possibly for a photo booth now.

Regards,
Adam

You are welcome! If you have an iphone with dual cameras (iphone 8 or newer) you can do magic screen. Check out sololink app - free works super well with wifibooth. Plus your ipad gets internet from iphone’s hotspot.
