Is the wifi connected straight from iPad to Sony? or via a router?

Thank you for the quick reply Tim.

Yes, I've connect the Wifi from the Sony a7riii (Network tab → Ctrl w/ Smartphone → Connect) to the iPad 12.9 Pro Wifi.

I'm running the latest firmware and software on the Sony a7riii and iPad 12.9 Pro.

I've also, tired reformatting the SD card on the camera.

I've also experience the same issue using Sony's Image Edge app's live view on my iPad.

Do you think it's an issue with the setting on the camera?

Tim,

What cheap used DSLR would you recommend to buy without any issues and connects to a external printer with the wifibooth app?

Canon 750D. Can easily connect via usb or wifi, more than enough quality for a booth.

Tim, I’m looking into the canon T6i.

Are there anything I need to be aware of when using T6i with wifi booth app?

Another question, can I hook up the T6i to my iPad with a cable instead.

The on the iPad have a usb-c splitter to charge the iPad at the same time?

Yes you can!
Get it working without the hub first.
Don’t use a cheap splitter, could damage camera it doesn’t expect power
