DNP WPS Pro 20 and iPad

Postby dschleyer » Sat Oct 29, 2022 9:01 am

I have an iPad connected to the WPS Pro via the system's wifi broadcast- WPSc662. I open WifiBooth and click to add printer- I select DNP WPS and it asks "Please enter the IP address of the WPS" I enter 192.168.43.11 and I get the error "WPS Not Found- Please check the IP address and try again" I have rebooted the ipad and the WPS. I have made sure that the wifi connection on the iPad is all set to automatic.

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Hmmm you wrote “.11” but i think you want “.1”?
In any case you can confirm the IP by opening a browser to the ip address - i believe it serves a webpage

What happens when you visit that page in the browser (safari)?

Still not working- when we enter .1 in Safari it says WPS on the network. Can you call me to work on the phone? Thanks

I'm sorry we don't offer phone support.
It could be that DNP has updated the WPS in a way that makes it incompatible with Wifibooth, I will ask them.

hmmm- ok- we have used the setup before covid and worked great. What is the best option for a new printer and WPS?

If it worked before and doesn't work now, the question is what changed? Wifibooth was not updated in a while so that isn't it.
Did your network setup change? Do you have a different printer or did any other hardware change?
I'd recommend we figure this out first before you buy anything...
