Setting up the ideal Strip set up

Postby johannTBox » Tue Nov 27, 2018 8:34 am

Hey Tim,

I am not getting an expert with the Stripes here :)

Is this the ideal workflow:

Pics 3
Collage Modus
2 stripes (Layout and collages)
Size 4x6
Printer: 2x2x6

Ist the following picture the best outcome? If I want the two stripes to have the exact same background, do I have to produce one that mirrors?

(This is just a Test :) nothing sexy)

Thank you in advance!

After reading it again, I think this is really complicated written. All together I want to get as close as possible to have the customer take 3 pics and afterwards only see 1 strip and when hitting print, it automatically begins at 2. is that possible or do I always have to show them the two strips?

Ah, I think I see: you mean the strips are duplicated but the background is not, right? That's a good point... I should fix that

Hey Tim,

yes that’s one point but is it possible to show the guest only one strip?

I know it always will print 2 but it would help if they see only 1

No that's not possible. The reason two are shown, is that guests would often try to print multiple copies for their friends -- ie. a group of 4 friends, so they'd see the print-copies prompt and choose "4" .... then end up with 8

Hey Tim,

so this means that when they send themselves the collage they get the double strip as picture...

That is in my opinion not a perfect solution. Wouldn’t it be easier if they only see one strip after taken the pics and then find a smooth way to notify them of the already upcoming 2 prints?

Yes, you're right.
I'll put it on the list.
