Is there a recommended printer?
Also, does the Instax work with the App?

I'd avoid the Instax, I don't think it supports AirPrint so it won't work with any app other than Fuji's own app.
For the budget-printer range, I recommend the Canon Selphy line (ie CP910 or 1200).
For the pro-printer range, I recommend the DNP series printers (ie DNP 40) with a WPS-PRO.
