Single Image Layout?

Postby HunterPhoto » Wed Aug 14, 2019 2:14 pm

Is there a way to make a single image layout? I want to do a 5x7 single portrait and have the logo of the event at the top. I can get the logo placement and the background color but it still makes me select at least two images. Please help.

Welcome to the forums!
Yes there is. In Event Settings:
- Taking Photos: set number of photos to 1
- Gallery: turn on the "Make collages with only 1 photo" setting (last one on the page currently)
You can also experiment with "Autopilot": try setting it to "Collages"

Hope that helps

Amazing, thank you. Finishing up testing but this seems like a great APP and I am excited o use it. Is there a way in the Gallary when you hit "select" you can change the number of or omit the "Choose up to 6 photos!"? I really only want to be able to select one for each final image. Thank you for the quick help.

Thanks, glad you like the app.
I'm not sure what you're trying to do... You're trying to prevent people from making collages altogether? No, there's no way to do that, but you can skip some screens with Autopilot.

Is it possible with the app that the camera has full control to release the shutter? Basically I want to be in control of the camera and the shutter but have the images go to the app and then the people be able to send it to them selves. When i connect the camera I can only release the shutter from the ipad. Many thanks for the help.

You need a camera that can do this (has nothing to do with the app - it is a function of the camera).
The Canon xxD series can do this (80D for example)
If your cam doesn’t support this, note: wifibooth can be triggered with the volume up button, which is what most cheap bluetooth remotes use. You can also plug in to the headphone jack if you have one and volume up there to trigger

Ok ill dig into that I am shooting with the 5DS R so I would think I could be able to if the 80D can.

Thank you for the other suggestion as well.

You are welcome! Yup that camera can do it AFAIK
IMO 5Dx is overkill for a photobooth, especially if you have drunken guests knocking things over. I find the 80D line perfect for booth work.

Hi Tim, how can the 80d do this? If I use the shutter of the camera the photo will not be transferred to the app automarically.

Hi Dalia
The 80D can do it. Are you on the gallery screen when you use the shutter?

Hi Tim,
