We’re currently running an unattended photo booth using an iPad Pro with a DNP printer via AirPrint (Fiesta software). The workflow works, but we’re not happy with the app — and especially not with the image quality from the iPad front camera.
Because of space limitations inside the booth, a DSLR setup isn’t an option. However, we may be able to mount an iPhone inside the booth and use its rear (main) camera instead.
So my question is:
Can Wifibooth run a fully stable setup where:
- An iPhone (rear camera) is used as the main camera
- The iPad Pro runs the booth interface
- A DNP printer works via AirPrint
The system runs completely unattended
Stability is absolutely critical for us since the booth operates 100% unattended at events.
Has anyone run a similar setup? Any limitations or stability issues we should be aware of?
