light painting

I've tried light painting with simple booth app and a panasonic g7. The long exposure is not working. Can this be done? Is light painting possible with wifibooth?
hmmm i have never thought of that.
Is the issue that the photo starts being taken, but then the app “gives up” too soon? Im guessing the app times out before the photo is taken and downloaded?
How long is the exposure you are trying to take?
Im happy to look at fixing this
