How to add stickers, text, drawings, etc

Postby Ecarlos » Sat Nov 17, 2018 4:12 pm

Hi,
i just updated to the latest version, and I'm on the PRO version.
After I take the pictures and see them on the collage printout on screen, I can't find how to navigate to the screen where you can add stickers, text, drawings, etc.
I have an event in a few hours....
Thanks!
Eric

Hi Eric,
On the collage screen near the top-right of the collage itself is an edit button, tap that!!!

cool. did not realize this function was available. I need to get cracking on making a multiple ipad set up with 3 or 4 ipads so people can take their time designing their photos while others use the next available ipad.

So how would that work? Would you have other iPads with Wifibooth installed and connected, for example, to both Blueprint and to the camera?

I would just use the ipad internal facetimc camera and let client #1 use first ipad, client #2 use send ipad, client #3 use third ipad. and client #4 will have to wait for client #1 to finish adding thier stickers and text befroe the whole process starts over again.

I am curious to hear how you (both) think this would work best. IMO if i am going to build this then i’d go for a “master ipad” that controls the camera and have the other ipads as “slave ipads”: the master would send out the photos to all the slave ipads, so the slaves would be in gallery-only mode (this setting is already available: it makes the gallery screen the home screen). This means that only one Group can be taking photos at a time, but N groups can be editing/sharing/printing their photos at a time

Technically that would be the easier part to build. The harder part would be making sure the printing works— not sure what happens when multiple devices try to print at once to airprint / cheap printers like the canon selphy.

Finally im curious if you actually think all the hassle would be worth it: having to bring an extra ipad, extra chargong cord, extra space on the table or wherever to set it up, then the extra step of connecting the slave ipad(s) to the master ipad, and so on... do you really have enough times when your current ipad is in use and ppl dont want to wait, to justify this extra hassle?

I personally think it is a very cool concept, and there is demand for a seperate social media sharing station for sharing via email or text. If I were you I would concentrate on a general sharing station more than a solution to getting more people to use the sticker feature which is nice but kind of a niche feature) Ipix (in beta) is one of the few competing ipad apps that lets you use a second ipad as a sharing station, picpic does too but it is extremely expensive.
