camera in vertical position

Hey Community,

if the camera is in vertical position and the layout is set to portrait the photo will be shown in landscape on the iPad.

If I take a photo with these settings with the iPad Camera everything looks correct.

Is there a setting in the camera (Canon Eos 80d) that I have to activate before I take photos in vertical position?

Did anyone try this before?

Thank's and regards,
Dalia

No there's no setting on your camera that you need to change.
When you say "shown in landscape on the iPad", do you mean in a collage? Or in the gallery -> preview/fullscreen view? Or do you mean the live view on the home page? Probably a screenshot would help here (you could upload to imgur etc)
It works fine on my end so let's figure out what's going on for you

Hmm, maybe I was wrong about it not being a camera setting problem.
Can you please tell me what your Auto Rotate setting is set to, and please try setting it to the middle option shown in this photograph?
