Purchase software

Postby nirmal » Fri May 03, 2019 6:07 am

Hi Tim,
I was trying to purchase a pro wifibooth.
But it is asking for my icloud credentials.
My question is can I please purchase the software directly with my credit card without using my icloud ID.

Thanks,
Nirmalpreet Singh.

Sorry, Apple does not allow this. It is not possible for apps on iOS to bypass Apple's payment system (because Apple would reject these apps and not allow the in the app store).
You do not need an iCloud account. You only need an Apple ID (which does not need iCloud enabled)

Hi Tim,
Thanks for all your help,
I have purchased the software and everything is working great.
But I am facing two little problems,
It would be great if you can please help.
1, The DSLR and iPad are clicking the images very sharp, but the printer is printing out the blur images.
2, The borders of the print out are not properly aligned. There is a little gap on the borders of a printout on the top and left.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
Nirmalpreet Singh.

Hi nirmal,
If you print one of the collages from the Apple Photos app, is it also blurry? If so then it is a problem with your printer.

To adjust print insets to get rid of the “borders” you mention, use the insets in the print popover.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your help,
The borders issue have been solved. But I am still not happy with the sharpness of the printed pictures.
I have tried printing printing from iPhone camera roll as well.
But the results are same.
The pictures look pretty sharp when I email them.
Is there any settings on Wifibooth that can sharp the printing images please.

Thanks,
Nirmalpreet Singh.

Hi Tim,
I spoke to DNP regarding the issue and I have not heard anything back from them yet.
I was just wondering that is there any way that I can figure out that there is a problem with DNP printer or am I missing any configuration or settings at Wifibooth software.

I have a single individual pictures and a collage created from those pictures in wifibooth also. I can send you them if that can be any helpful.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
Nirmalpreet Singh.

Hi Nirmal
You mentioned that the prints are blurry from multiple different apps so i'm afraid there's no way wifibooth can help you with the printer problem...

Hi Tim,
Thanks a lot for you reply.
I just spoke to the DNP technical team regarding the blurry Images.
They pictures that I print directly from laptop are pretty sharp now.
Can you please suggest me the best wifibooth settings to gets the photo prints in maximum resolution.
Like should I choose Auto Enhance option to be active or not?
And should the downsize images to print resolution be disable to enable? etc.

Thanks again for all your continues help,
Nirmalpreet Singh.

Hi Nirmal,
Glad you are making progress. If you can share what you did to your printer / WPS unit to improve the quality it would help others here too.

Re Wifibooth settings:
- no, don't turn on auto-enhance, that will not have an impact on sharpness
- make sure "downsize images to print resolution" is enabled, unless you have a digital sharing workflow that requires it to be disabled
- most important: make sure the paper size you have selected in Event Settings -> Layout & Collages is correct (ie. 4.0" x 6.0"), and that Dots Per Inch (DPI) on this same page is set to 300

Thank you Tim,
I just cleaned my DNP printer as per the DNP technical suggestions.
And now the pictures turn out to be fine.
I will try the settings as mentioned above and will update you.

Thanks a lot again for all your help again.
Really appreciate that.

Nirmal.
