BT Remote / Volume up not working

Hi,
first of all, thank you very much for the app!
I want to use wifibooth on the next weekend at an wedding with an Sony a6000 connected through Wifi.

Therefore I bought an BT remote which triggers volume up. But unfortunately it looks like "volume up" is not always triggering a photo. If I start the app only the first trigger does work. It makes no difference for the BT remote or the HW volume up button.

I am using version 4.13.0

What can I do?

Hi unfortunately in recent versions of iOS Apple disabled this feature so no apps can use it anymore

Oh maan, this can't be true
I guess there is no workaround or something?

None that I have found. Its always been against the Apple HIG - they really dont like it when you make a physical button do something other than exactly only the thing they want it to. And they locked it down in an ios update. Super annoying

Good news. I have released an update that fixes the BT Remote / volume up. You must be running iOS 17.2 or newer. Apple has released a new API that allows you to use the volume up like this, but they only released it in iOS 17.2.
