Email Issues

I am having issues with the Dropbox/email feature. I am logged into Dropbox fine. I have a screenshot of my settings and my error messages included. I do not have two step verification and I have tried using port 587 in addition to the recommended 465, no luck. I have also tried different email accounts. One thing I noticed was that gmail blocked a 'suspicious log in,' screenshot included.

Hi andTheKnew,

Interesting, I have never seen this issue before. Since you seem to know what you are doing, i'll assume all of your settings are correct and the issue is indeed that Google blocks the request.

Here is how I'd like you to test this for me:
1) log into that gmail account and turn ON 2-step verification
2) (still in gmail web interface) generate an "app password". these are long passwords but easily copy/pastable (doesn't matter if you leave the spaces in or not)
3) Try wifibooth with that app password (paste it into settings->wifibooth)

Did that work (when you do a test send like you already tried) ?

Great thanks for letting me know. In a future version i will have to build the whole gmail web login thing...
