I'm about to build that wooden box around the iPad and the Cam.
I have a question: Does the app also support/work with a horizontal format?

Yes it does!
It works best if you put the camera and ipad in the same orientation - ie both portrait, or both landscape (horizontal)

Post photos of the box you make when you get a chance, always great to see what people are making!

I couldn't prove it by now, cause the iPad is still on its way.

For the record: I substituted my 600D with a 750D. This is a little wonder for its price though! I didn't know that it comes with an autofocus while filming. The 5D Mark 3 can't do that!

Anyways, I will keep you upated! Maybe I will do a little Video or something when I'm done.
