App freezing in between photos

Hi,
I used the app for the first time at an event yesterday, worked great mostly!
There was 2 or 3 times when the app froze in between taking photos. once it stayed on the photo after cheese for about 20 seconds then came back to life. the other i had to turn the app off and on again. Do you know if this was something i did? I didnt have any other apps open on the ipad.

Can you please tell me which iPad you have, which camera you're using, and how the wifi is connected?

Hi Tim,
Using Ipad Pro - the front facing camera on the screen side. We weren't using wifi, we were using a network created by my laptop.
The set up was:
Macbook with create network
printopa
ipad pro
wifi booth app
dnp printer

4.0.4 is now available and it contains fixes for issues where the app gets stuck during photos.

Just did our first proper event tonight using wifibooth, 3.5 hrs of pretty constant use, with the new iPad pro 12" which is completely clean - the only app on there is wifi booth.
We had it crash about 5 or 6 times, it would freeze on the photo display, and the only way out was to leave guided access, then double tap the app and open again

Very sorry it gave you trouble. Just to check this is still the ipad front camera right?
EDIT: update, I'm now able to reproduce the problem and i'm working on a fix.

OK, a fix is on the way, pending apple's approval. I hope it will get released this week.
If you want to try it right now, i'll send it to you via Testflight. You'll need to PM me your email address if you want to do that.

... good news, apple approved the update already. It should be available now (or tomorrow): 4.0.5
Please try it out and let me know if it solves your problem.
