Issuing refund

Hi,

I would like to have a refund because I chose the wrong package. I bought "Small event package" but what I really want is "Pro". I bought the "Pro" package afterwards. Can I refund the "Small Event Package"? Please advise. Thanks

Yes you can. Since all purchases are made thru apple, all refunds are made thru apple too.
The easiest way to get Small Events refunded: wait until you receive the email receipt from Apple, if you didn't already. On the receipt there is a link, "Report a problem" or something similar. Hit that, and when prompted enter the reason that you just told me here, and apple will refund it.
If you don't want to wait for the email, you can also do it through iTunes I believe.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have tried that and iTunes(or Apple) stated that the item cannot be refund.

That's really weird - try again, and just choose a different reason button. Some of the buttons lead to the form instantly saying "no", others lead to a human at Apple actually looking at it...
Also, please make sure you're not trying to get a refund of the Pro subscription by mistake -- that's a different process altogether, because it is a subscription

Hi Tim I bought the pro package about a year ago and I no longer run a Photobooth
However today I got charged by apple and i realised it was for the Pro package and a subscription,
How do I get a refund since I don’t intend on using the software anymore ?
I didnt get an email or anything confirming continual use/ was or payment either

Only shows me where to cancel my subscription
Nothing process about a refund ?

I still haven’t been able to any effective progress
When you say it’s a different process with the Pro package because it’s a subscription
Could you kindly walk me through it?
Cos I can’t quite find much help

Hi Kelvin,
You need to contact Apple. You can call them, email them, or schedule them to call you.
There's nothing I can do - Apple does not allow anyone to access any dashboard of purchases where we could refund etc.
