Please help, nothing change after purchasing PRO

Hi, after tried using the trial mode for a while, Wifibooth is exactly what I’ve been looking for. So I purchased a Pro package 2 days ago and until now, the app is still in the trial mode (watermark still there, warning window with ‘see price’ still there, other feathers are all still in trial mode)


I checked with apple store and everything about the purchase are all right. I already got an invoice email from apple. I even try to buy the package again in the app but it said ‘you are currently subscribe’. I’m a beginner so please let me know what to do. Thank you.

Oh no! That's very strange.
Can you please try this:
1. delete the app (delete Wifibooth from the device). Don't worry your purchase will not be lost
2. turn OFF the ipad. Full power off (not just sleep): hold the power button down, swipe to off.
3. turn the iPad back on, wait for it to boot, go to app store, install wifibooth again
4. go to the purchase screen, hit "restore purchase" at the bottom.

I’ve already followed your 4steps here but it still doesn’t work. After i hit “restore purchase”, the window shown up said Your previous purchase was successfully restored. But then again back to the trial mode.

Is there any suggestion to fix this? I really need to use the app in my sister’s wedding day. Please help. Thank you

Hi nath
Please delete the app, install it again from app store, and restore your purchase (on the purchase screen, you can get to it from the popup -> see price)
Let me know that this fixes it for you

I dont understand your question sorry.
Are you saying that you cancelled your subscription, resubscribed, and it doesn’t work?

If you check your active subscriptions with Apple, does the subscription with Wifibooth appear?

Hi Tim,
I'm having a similat issue with the in app purchase. i've purchased the small events package in app. In my itunes account it says sale is pending. Not sure how long it takes. I've tried repurchasing the same app but it notifies me i have already purchased it. I've tried restoring it but i'm notified that there is nothing to restore.

I have not received notification of completed transaction from itunes ( no itunes receipt has come through my email.) i've tried the suggested steps prior to attempting repurchasing the package. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi Marco, if you're seeing "pending", then that can be for a variety of reasons but there's nothign you can do until Apple clears the sale.

If this doesn't clear up in a day or two then please contact Apple Support using their website. They are very good at solving these problems, because they want your money! :D

I purchased a new iPad and cannot restore my Wifibooth pro that I purchased in May 2018. I did all of the steps by signing out of my apple account that was used to purchase the app, shut the ipad down, signed back in and tried to restore but it says it cannot be restored. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Please can you check no restrictions are enabled under settings app -> screen time -> content restrictions
What iOS version?
What wifibooth version do you see if you go settings app -> wifibooth -> bottom?

I do not see any restrictions and the version I have is 4.8.2 though it says in red a newer version is available but when I go to the App Store it shows 4.8.2 is the latest version.

Hi JodiR, please ignore that the app tells you there's a newer version available. That's an issue i'm fixing this coming week (it is not related to your issue).
Another user also had issues restoring his PRO subscription, and wrote up his learnings here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1453&p=5275&hilit=s ... tion#p5275
Please take a look and see if that helps. Otherwise you are going to need to contact Apple Support...

OK that long explanation helped I guess. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it and it restored my purchase I guess but I’m only in the selfie version. When I checked my Pro purchase it was a subscription that appears to be for only one month maybe as the charge was $6.99. Now that I know I don’t have the Pro plan I would prefer to have the purchase under a new Apple ID so my guests can save photos to a camera roll and send them to their phones without having access to my personal camera roll and text messages. As far as I can tell that is the only way for my guests to have the photos is by saving to a camera roll and then texting them to their own mobile device correct? If this is the only method, please let me know if I need to start the process of purchasing the app and starting over with a new Apple ID?
