Connection problems

Hey Tim,

In addition to my problems with the canon 80D connection I now experience the error that no iPhone can connect to the event.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. As I wrote you 2 weeks ago I switched to a new mobile router because I experienced connection issues with the printer and camera. But now I have a very expensive one and it works all fine with the printer.

Do you have an idea for this?

Thank you

Regarding the iPhone not finding the iPad (ie. to control the iPad):
- make sure both devices have bluetooth turned on
- make sure both devices have the newest version of Wifibooth (you can check this by going to Settings App -> Wifibooth -> at the bottom)

Hey tim,

It’s 4.4.1 and build 5414 on both devices.

About the Bluetooth: that’s turned on and the iPhone finds the event but just can’t connect to it. From 5 tried it worked 1 time fine but the others it tried to connect at least 10 min

There's a bug that can happen if the ipad and iphone are both on the same wifi network. Can you please try turning OFF the wifi of the iphone just to test, does that make any difference?

Next thing to try:
- turn off ipad completely (hold down power, swipe to off). This works around an iOS bug
- turn ipad on, open wifibooth, go to event settings,”event info” settings page, verify “anyonewith the app can connect” is turned on

If that still doesnt work pleass try powering your phone down also
