Yes that will work, but you will need BluePrint: Sony wifi requires you to connect the ipad wifi directly to the camera because sony does not support infrastructure mode.

Tim! Hey what's the ideal camera for your software? I can tell it's Sony, Canon, or (probably not Nikon). Sony a6500? Canon m5? I'd prefer something smaller than a DSLR but am flexible. Will be buying. Appreciate it.

Canons have the better wifi that allow your ipad to be connected to the camera AND the internet at the same time. If you want dropbox, Twitter etc then canon is good.
If you want to use strobe flash (ie not constant lighting) then get the 80D or better so that the liveview and photos can be different exposures. The cheaper canons are not capable of this.
I think canon m5 might be great but i havent tried it. I think it supports live view exposure simulation. I would rent it for an event and try it out before you buy.

PowerShot cameras are still on the radar, but not coming soon. The issue is that they don't all behave the same, there are many different protocol variants. Canon did not make it easy.

Hi Jackiekk,
Sorry, at the moment it's not really feasible to use Wifibooth with the Nikon D3000 :( This is because Nikon did not make a wifi adapter for your camera, and Eyefi is very difficult to use (you'd be better off putting the $ towards a new camera rather than an EyeFi card).

Hello, I'm new to wifibooth and was looking through the community because I'm highly interested in purchasing the Pro package, but just making sure what I'll need from this point with the equipment I already have... aiming to have a similar setup as mentioned by tim below..

I have a Sony a6000 and Ipad Pro 12.9 2nd gen.
I'm willing to get a DNP WPS PRO, but was exploring options for a printer.
I see that you say I will be needing BluePrint... but will I still need an eye-fi card since it is dropping support?

Hello,

I have been using Wifi Booth with an iPad Pro 12.9 works awesome. I want to upgrade to a Sony A5100 or A6000. I just want to clarify this setup will work.

Will the below work?
1) iPad Pro 12.9 (WiFi connected to WPS Pro)
2) DNP WPS Pro connected to DNP RX1HS (Connected via USB)
3) Sony Camera (WiFi connected to WPS Pro)

Can this support live view and auto print (autopilot) without using Blue Print? I am just trying to make my setup simple as possible.

I thank you in advance for being very supportive in answering all of our questions.

You dont need an eyefi card - your Sony a6000 has wifi.
You need to update both the firmware and the smart remote embedded app on your camera- see wifibooth.com help articles for how to do this!

Thanks for the quick reply!
since a6000 is the camera, If I choose not to go with a DNP WPS PRO (and DNP printer) will I have any other options for wirelessly printing to a printer? (example: Canon Selphy cp1300) auto printing?

I tried to connect yes, but it did not work yet. Camera is brandnew so perhaps i did something wrong. I tried to connect with Smartphone on the camera but it did not find the ipad with wifibooth. What is the right way to connect Canon with wifibooth? Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Tim, it is not working.
i have the 4000d here. I downloaded the new App on Ipad mini and Iphone 8.
With both i have the same problem.
I open a wifi on the camera, then i connect with the ipad und started the app.
I hear a sound from the mirror of the camera. Camera screen goes black and the app shows nothing.

Do you want me to take a video for you, so that you can see it?

If testes the app with a canon eos 750d and its working great.
regards
