Canon 70D third party battery warning

Postby adirpm » Tue Jan 15, 2019 3:25 pm

Hey guys, maybe someone has a solution to my problem.

I’m using a third party power cord from amazon for my canon 70D - so it is not running on battery.
However, the camera notices that it’s not an original equipment and shows a warning which I have to accept manually.

Is there a way to get around accepting the warning? Because I simply want to plug the PhotoBooth in and don’t to anything else on the camera.
I could buy the original equipment, but it’s like three or four times the price I paid.
If you have a solution, let me know. Thank you 😊

get the original. buy it used on ebay if you can't afford it new. or at least carry the original battery as a back up. many 3rd party power supplies fail. And they only fail for a spit second, which fools one into thinking they are actually working and it'a wifi issue or something else causing the issue.
not worth the risk!
