No connection (anymore) with Sony Alpha 6700

Postby Gereon » Sun Jul 21, 2024 7:59 pm

Hello everyone,
I have a new Sony Alpha 6700. Yesterday I connected it to my iPad via Direct Wifi and tested the app for over 30 minutes. So the app recognized my camera and Wifibooth worked! Today I wanted to test further and a connection is no longer possible. The app reports the error se.cascable error 1003. I know that the Alpha 6700 is not yet in the list of compatible cameras, but it already worked. Reinstalling the app, restarting the iPad, taking another iPad, restarting the camera all didn't help. The software on the iPad and camera are up to date. Can anyone help? Thanks!

That's really odd!
Do you see the same thing with https://booth.events (it's free to try for 3 events) ?
One thing I can remember with Sony cameras it that they are very picky about pairing. Is there a way to reset the network settings / pairing of the Sony?
Please write a review for Wifibooth on the Apple App store! Indie developers like me really need people like you to review their apps. Instructions on how to write a review: http://goo.gl/w8NsDI.
