Hello,
I see on the information page that there are options to purchase and rent the upgrades. However, when I'm in the app, the option to rent isn't available. Is renting not an option anymore? If it is, what are the pricing and access models?

Correct, rental options were removed some years ago. For some reason Apple shows removed/inactive in-app-purchases on their itunes pages still, sorry about that.
The pricing you see in the app is the correct price: you need to use the app to see the price, because prices depend upon a number of factors (such as which currency & country your Apple ID is registered with etc).
